Full Home Design Consultation

This is a 90-minute in-home working session focused on understanding your home as a whole and creating a clear plan for your renovation or redesign. During our time together, we’ll review your completed intake questionnaire, walk through your home, and discuss what’s working, what isn’t, and what you want to change or improve.
I’ll take basic measurements, photos, and notes as we review layouts demonstrate flow between spaces, storage needs, lighting, and architectural features. This consultation is designed to provide clarity, alignment, and direction before design and construction begin — and to help you determine if I’m the right designer to execute your vision.

What to expect

1. Lifestyle, goals & requirements review: We’ll discuss how you live in your home, your long-term goals, and the challenges you’re experiencing across multiple spaces. This helps ensure the design supports your day-to-day life, not just individual rooms.
2. Design direction & big-picture vision: We’ll explore overarching themes, style direction, and how your home should feel as a whole. This includes discussions around colour flow, material consistency, and visual cohesion from room to room.
3. On-site evaluation: I’ll assess architectural features, existing layouts, structural considerations, and any constraints that may influence design decisions. This allows us to identify opportunities and limitations early in the process.
4. Budget alignment & project priorities: We’ll discuss your overall investment range, phasing strategy (if applicable), and where to focus your budget for maximum impact. This ensures design recommendations align with your priorities and timeline.
5. Design process overview: I’ll walk you through my full-home design process—from concept development to documentation, selections, and project support—so you understand the steps, milestones, and what to expect moving forward.
6. Open Q&A: This is your time to ask questions about scope, sequencing, timelines, or anything you want clarity on. The goal is for you to leave the consultation feeling confident, informed, and excited about the next phase.

Next Steps

Within 5 business days of the consultation, you’ll receive:

1. A written summary of our discussion
2. A detailed Statement of Work outlining scope, deliverables, and fees
3. Clear next steps to begin the design phase if you choose to proceed
